I'm going to Greece tomorrow for two weeks, a trip to spend time with my Dad, we haven't been on a proper vacation together in years. My main concern? How much knitting to bring? I don't wan't to get bored, but I don't want to carry TWO suitcases. I'm also tempted to bring the spindle and a bag of fibre, but that would just be crazy, right? Not sure how much I'll be able to post during the trip, but I'm going to keep our art in mind and be on the lookout for interesting Helenic knitting knowledge.
Here's what I've been doing:
It's handspun, wire, moonstone, pearls, glass. For le shoppe.

Well I'd pass on the fiber and spindle, but other than that...I'd probably bring socks since they're so small. But don't forget to leave room for any new fiber purchases!

Love the piece you are knitting.
Hope you had a great trip to Greece. Any Greek knitting knowledge to be had?

Hi Jen! Thanks so much for your kind comment on my blog! I don't have another blog, but I've been terribly remiss in not posting on my current one - I've been having a bit of a hard time juggling a part-time job, my overactive 4-year-old, and my pregnancy! I'm 6 months along, and the morning sickness is still with me, which does a great job of sapping my energy! If you're on Ravelry, my username is Tala, look me up, and (shameless plug!) I have an Etsy shop (tala.etsy.com). I've gotten to a point with the blog that I almost feel like I've been gone so long I can't come back - but it's great to know people are still stopping by, and I guess I should get off my tush and post!! And now I'm going to go browse your blog!
